ORDERING INFORMATION

Ordering may be delayed this year as I will be on vacation from November 1st - 21st
I’m going to do my best to get galleries ready before I go, but I may not be able to finish in time

You will receive a notification from me and your school with an access code for each child when your proofing gallery is ready.

  • I have switched to a new gallery host for school portraits. I hope ordering will be super simple and self-explanatory. But if you have questions, please let me know. (If you cannot select the Class/Group to deliver your order to at check out, just skip it. This is a known issue.)

  • Some print sizes have a different aspect ratio than the original image and require cropping. You are responsible for adjusting the crop on each print in your order and ensuring the crop is to your liking at checkout. If you do not make any changes, it will be ordered as is with no adjustments to the default crop. Refunds/reprints will not be issued based on crop.

  • For DIGITAL PURCHASES a link to download will be emailed to you immediately after purchase. (Please check your junk folder.) You must download these to a computer, not a tablet or phone. There is a retrieval fee of $30.00 for images not downloaded before the gallery closes.

  • Class pictures are prints only (you cannot buy the digital).

  • Galleries are open for ordering for ONE WEEK ONLY. Once it closes it will not be reopened. After this time, you may only purchase your child’s entire individual collection of digital images here: Late Orders + Image Retrieval

ENTER YOUR ACCESS CODE BELOW TO VIEW AND ORDER PORTRAITS

Access codes for each child will be included in your notification that your gallery is live.
If your child uses a student number at school, this is likely their access code.
If you have lost your access code, please contact your school administrator.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much are pictures? >

Print and digital image prices are comparable to other school portrait photographers. I offer a variety of print packages as well as a la carte pricing for a more customized ordering experience. Gone are the days of having to order a huge package just to get one 8x10. And the style and quality is better by far.

When will we receive our orders? >

Unless you choose to pay for direct shipping, all print orders will be delivered to the school and sent home with your children approximately 4 weeks after the gallery closes. Orders for multiple children will be packaged together and sent home with one child. If you order digital images these will be emailed to you in a .zip file and must be downloaded to a computer before the gallery closes. (Images downloaded to a phone or tablet will not save in a sufficient resolution to make prints)

Do you offer makeups and retakes? >

We will do makeups at school as scheduled at school. If your child misses both picture day and the makeup, I will email you after the makeup days with instructions on how to schedule makeups with me directly. I do not offer complimentary retakes as you have not purchased anything upfront. If you would like a retake, you may schedule those when my studio is next open for portraits. There is a sitting fee. Get more details and schedule here: https://nataliezepp.com/retakes

Why is the top of my child’s head cut off in my favorite image? >

I intentionally take a series of shots like this to emphasize the eyes. They are often favorites because of the closeness and the angle at which they are taken. The visual impact would not be the same if I were to back up to include the top of the head. I do make sure to include portraits from further away for those of you who are bothered by the top of the head missing.

Why is my child off-center? >

I upload images as they were shot to retain the original file size for later cropping at various aspect ratios. At checkout you will have the option to edit the crop for each of your chosen print sizes and can center them to your heart’s desire. If you do not take the time to adjust the crop on your image, it will be printed with the default crop.

Why do some students have more images than others? >

I shoot continuously with each child attempting to capture a variety of expressions and angles. Some students are ready to give me a lot where others are more reserved. Then there are the ones who make me work hard and shoot more so I don’t miss the .03 second smile when they finally break. I delete the images that are technically inferior and entirely unflattering, but otherwise, I let you see everything I got. You’re the expert on your child. You know which expressions and micro-expressions are ‘just so him/her’. I don’t believe in limiting you to just what I thought was best. I find more often than not that the outtakes tend to be the favorites.

I have other children that do not attend this school. Can you take their 'school' portrait too? >

Absolutely! My home studio is open a few times each year for alternative school portraits and all of your children are welcome (even your infants and toddlers). Go here for more info and to book an appointment: https://nataliezepp.com/pensacola-studio-portraits

Do you offer family sessions? >

YES! I’m primarily a birth and family lifestyle photographer. You can click the ‘Portfolio’ link in the menu at the top (or the hamburger if you’re on a mobile device) to browse my most recent work. If my style is a good fit for you, click ‘Book Now’ to tell me about your needs and inquire about pricing. (Heads up: I’m usually booked up 2-3 months in advance.)
