Rowyn's Pi Day Birthday Pie Smash | Pensacola Photographers

During delivery, Dr. Andrews remarked how Rowyn had just missed being born on the Ides of March. To which I replied, having really only just remembered, ‘but it IS Pi Day!’. Well that was cause for excitement…because who really know what the Ides of March are without looking it up? (You’re thinking about googling it aren’t you?) LOL.

Anyway. Naturally, for his first birthday Catherine decided that Rowyn would have PIE instead of a cake. He had pie on his actual birthday, but March was still too chilly to think about doing a cake smash photoshoot outside. So last week we picked up another pie and let him eat it in a park a sunset. I love that go with the flow mentality Catherine has. So what if we were a month late getting his smash session done? It turned out perfectly. And the color of that blueberry pie!!!
