Blueberry Picking | Pensacola Photographers

Jess was looking for something unique for her maternity photos, as well as something that would be safe and fun for her almost-2-year-old, Evan. It was summer and right near the end of berry picking season, so I suggested, Touchablue blueberry farm.

Pensacola photographers are always dealing with afternoon thunderstorms in the summer. We’d already had to postpone this session once due to weather, and wouldn’t you know a rogue squall gave us a scare this day as well. Not wanting to postpone again and risk Jess going into labor before we could get this done, I consulted the radar and felt like we’d have just enough time to squeeze a session in between storms.

Our timing was perfect, and the rain and cloud cover meant Jess and Joe we’re sweating buckets thru the session (like last year at Evan’s first birthday cake smash). We had the fields all to ourselves and had a blast frolicking up and down the rows picking berries (and chasing Evan).
