Emma | Newborn Photographer Pace FL

You'll remember Emma from her epic c-section delivery here. When I arrived for their newborn session, the house was in a bit of a frenzy. It seemed Emma was going to have to go back to the hospital for a different kind of photo session, photo-therapy (for jaundice). So we flew into action while Shannon and Joe waited for the final word from the pediatrician.

I typically try to stick to capturing babies (and everyone really) in a more candid, unposed manner. But Shannon very much wanted to have a few more traditionally posed images, in a sweet vintage pram that she had saved in the hope of one day having a daughter. I agreed to do what I could, as long as Emma was cooperating.

I'll be darned if she didn't sleep through every touch, every pose, and every wardrobe change. How could I not take advantage of such a perfect little model or resist styling her up in glittery wraps and great-grandmother's pearls? (If the slideshow does not appear, refresh your browser.)

Take a moment to leave a comment for Shannon and Joe. Once 50 people have commented, they will have their choice of a FREE 8x10 mounted print from this session (a $40.00 value).
