Happy Birthday Avyn | Super Bowl Sunday Pensacola, FL

Avyn’s birth at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL was truly my kind of Super Bowl party! Early in 2020 and one of the last births to have been filled with the joy of family in the birth suite, waiting room, and hallways before the visitor restrictions descended.

We watched the game while Courtney labored until it was time to push. Dr. Medlock breezed in (in his board shorts and topsiders) to help Dad catch his baby boy.

Shortly after the big brothers swooped back in to love on their mama and baby Avyn. It was such a laid back and joyful birth. Watch the slideshow below for the whole story.
