Asher’s birth story was one of the most emotional births I’ve ever documented. Joyful and bittersweet. Things didn’t go as planned and Asher ended up in the nursery with a pneumothorax. So I am especially glad we had a newborn session scheduled for a few weeks later. It was great to document everyone upright and tube-free. And of course, we had to include her big brother and sister who were not permitted to visit in the hospital.

Her big brother Jayme is in heaven now, but he was represented by his favorite toy, Lightning McQueen.

Asher is actually getting a little sister later this summer and I’m so excited to document another birth and newborn for this super sweet and fun family.
