Lily's Tiny House Newborn Session | Milton Newborn Photographer
I have a secret dream to live in a tiny house. A completely unrealistic dream, as I am definitely not a minimalist and can’t stay organized to save my life. Nonetheless, I am enamored with the prospect of tiny, well-designed living spaces.
It has been a long while since I’ve had the opportunity to photograph in one. Not since Josiah’s newborn session in 2019! Naturally, I was overjoyed when Sarah booked her newborn session and mentioned they lived in a tiny house!
Tiny spaces always have such beautiful light too. I think it’s the proportion of the space to the windows. Even a window I might consider small, usually provides ample light in a tiny space. Especially when the walls are white. And somehow, the light both fills up the space and creates great pockets of directional light. It’s a light quality that is really hard to find in Florida homes.
Be sure to check out the tiny nursery that Aaron added on behind the master bed.
Tiny spaces can be a challenge, but the best sessions usually come out of situations that force me to think outside the box and use space creatively.
