Adeline’s sweet homestyle newborn session in Milton, Florida has such a relaxed and fun feel. It can be hard to just go with the flow at a newborn session, especially when your toddler is bouncing all over the place, but mom and dad were completely relaxed and allowed big sister Clara’s precociousness to shine through. I love having the opportunity to document personality, and what you perceive as a parent as over the top or showing off kind of behavior is usually what translates best in still images. Don’t ever be afraid to let you kids run a little bit wild at sessions. It’s ok if they pull out all the blankets and want to wear a crazy hat. All you have to do is focus on enjoying your family. Trust me, I’ll find a way to reign in any behavior that isn’t giving me what I need.

I also really love the continuity of color in everything from the decor to wardrobe. There is a seamless transition from the living room to the bedroom to the nursery that made a beautifully cohesive collection of images and a really stunning album.
